Just like humans’ dogs learn through play. The right dog toy can provide hours of fun, exercise and be mentally stimulating. Other benefits include helping your dog to bond with you and other dogs. There are many types of toys and they serve different purposes – catching, fetching, tugging and chewing.

Perla Navia recently joined the reality show Housewives of Cheshire. She has owned Dora, her French Bulldog, from a puppy. Perla says that ‘Dora is the glue at the heart of her family’. From the photo below, Dora has found a new friend in Bert the Bee – ‘No Buzzing.’
Why is exercise important?
Obesity in dogs is on the rise. In Managing Your Dog’s Weight Information Guide produced by the Kennel Club ‘It is estimated that between 30%-60% of dogs are overweight’. Exercise as well as diet plays an important role in keeping your dog healthy. Ball toys such as the PetBloon Balloon toy provides a rigorous workout and Louis, our English Bulldog, could not get enough of it. However, the PetBloon is not only fun to play with but has the added advantage of being easily visible to dogs.
