Please refer to size chart shown for your selected product as some sizes vary between styles. Remember that any clothing and especially collars should fit comfortably and snug without any restriction or tightness. If your dog does not fit within the size specifications, not to worry! Please contact us. You can find our details at the bottom of this page.
Make sure you get the most comfortable fit for your dog – and the right size first time – by taking a few simple measurements.
Neck: Measure the circumference of the neck where the collar will sit.
Length: Measure from the base of the neck (where the collar would sit) to the base of the tail along the dogs back bone.
Chest: Measure right around the body from behind the front legs and around the deepest part of your dog’s chest. It is important to make sure that the chest size is measured correctly.
TIP: If your dog is stouter, has a thick coat, broader chest or is at the maximum measurement for the size listed against the product you may want to go up by at least one size for a better fit. Like humans, dogs come in all shapes and sizes and in many cases their figure is not always in proportion to the length of their body.
Dog Bed Sizes
Your dog should have enough space on its bed to be able to lie down on its side with legs stretched out in front.
Dog Collar Size Guide
Take a flexible tape measure and place around your dog’s actual neck (not their existing collar). If your dog is between sizes, then it’s best to go up one.
Dog clothes are measured by body length. This measurement is taken from the back of your dogs’ body, starting from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. If your dog has a chubby body we recommend going up by at least one size in order for a comfy fit.
Dog Coat Size Guide
Hold the tape measure loosely, so that you can get two fingers underneath. If your dog measurement is an odd number round it down one size.
- Length: Measure from your dog’s neck to the base of the tail.
- Chest: Find the ribcage and wrap the tape measure around the widest part. Your final selection should correspond with your dog’s chest size.
Dog harnesses are measured by maximum chest circumference. This is the widest part of your dog’s chest, usually just behind the front legs.
